Messaging Policy (SMS & WhatsApp)

This policy explains the messages (SMS and, where enabled, WhatsApp) that Ordina sends on behalf of the service businesses that use our platform, how recipients consent to receive them, and how to stop them.

1. Messages we send

All messages are transactional and booking-related — we do not send marketing or promotional texts. Messages include:

  • Booking confirmations — sent to a customer when they complete a booking.
  • Appointment reminders — a reminder before a scheduled appointment.
  • Owner notifications — new-booking alerts and a daily schedule summary, sent to the business owner.

2. How recipients opt in

  • Customers:a customer opts in by entering their mobile number during the booking conversation on a business’s Ordina booking page. At the point the number is requested, they are told the number will be used to send booking confirmations and reminders by SMS (and, where enabled, WhatsApp), and that they can reply STOP to opt out. Messages are only ever sent to a number the customer entered themselves for a specific booking.
  • Business owners: owners opt in by enabling SMS notifications in their Ordina dashboard settings.

Numbers are never purchased, rented, scraped, or shared with third parties for their own marketing. Consent is not transferable.

3. Message frequency

Frequency depends on booking activity — typically one confirmation per booking, one reminder per upcoming appointment, and (for owners who opt in) booking alerts plus an optional daily summary.

4. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent to that number. Reply HELPfor assistance. You may also contact the business directly. Business owners can turn off SMS notifications anytime in their dashboard settings.

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
