Your website: add a Book now button

A button floats in the corner of your own website. Visitors click it and book, order or ask your Secretary without leaving your site.

Step by step

1. Open Integration, then Your website.
2. Choose which websites can show it. Add your own domain (for example yoursite.com; subdomains like shop.yoursite.com are included). Browsers block the widget on any site not on the list. You can skip this and allow any website, but listing yours stops others using your widget.
3. Choose how the button looks, then copy the code.
4. Paste it on your website, once, before the closing body tag:
   • Wix: in your Wix dashboard, open Custom Code (under Advanced), Add Custom Code and paste. Needs a paid Wix plan with your own domain.
   • Squarespace: Settings, Code Injection (under Advanced or Developer tools), paste into the Footer. Needs the Core plan or higher.
   • WordPress: install a header and footer plugin and paste the code into the footer. On WordPress.com, adding code needs a plan that allows plugins.
   • Any other site: open the file or template every page shares, usually the footer, paste the code just above the closing body tag, then save and publish.
5. Open it once on your website. Click the button and check your booking page opens. This step turns green when it does.

What visitors see

A round button in the corner you chose. Clicking it opens your booking page in a panel where they can book, order or chat with your Secretary. On phones it fills the screen, with a close button.

Good to know

• The key in the code is not a secret. It only tells Ordina the widget is yours; the allowed websites list is what protects it.
• Ordina records only which website the widget loaded on and how often it was opened. Nothing about your visitors is recorded.
• "Blocked" on a site means it is not on your allowed list. Add it in Settings.
• Add the code to every page, not only the home page. Visitors often decide while reading about a service.
• To remove it, delete the code from your website. Nothing needs switching off in Ordina.
