Run classes and group sessions
Use capacity to let several people book the same slot, for yoga, fitness, cooking, tutoring and workshops.
A class is a slot that more than one person can book. Ordina handles it with capacity.
Setting it up
- Store → Profile → Simultaneous appointments: set the number of places (10 mats, 8 seats).
- Store → Services: add the class as a bookable service with its duration and price. Name it clearly: "Vinyasa flow (60 min)".
- Set business hours to your class times. If you run classes at fixed times only (6:30 and 18:00), the simplest way is to keep hours tight around them and say the timetable in the knowledge base; the Secretary will offer the nearest free start.
The Secretary keeps offering the class until the capacity is full, then says it is fully booked and suggests the next one.
Mixed businesses
Capacity is one number for the whole account. If you run 1:1 sessions and group classes from the same account, set capacity to the class size and, in the knowledge base, tell the Secretary that personal training is one person at a time; it will not double-book you on a 1:1 when a customer asks for one, but a determined customer could book two. If that matters, run classes and 1:1s as two accounts.
Packages of classes
Ordina does not sell multi-session passes yet. The clean workaround: sell a product called "10-class pass", and in the knowledge base tell the Secretary that pass holders book the class as Pay at Venue and mention their pass. You tick them off at the door.
On the day
Scan QR codes at the door with Scan and mark the class complete afterwards so everyone gets the thank-you and review link.
