Google Calendar: sync your bookings
New appointments go onto your Google Calendar, busy times cannot be booked, and video services get a Google Meet link you host.
Connect Google Calendar and your bookings and your calendar stay one.
- ConnectIntegration, Google Calendar.
- Sign in with GoogleChoose the account and allow access.
- SyncingStarts at once.
What sync does
- Every confirmed appointment goes onto your calendar, with the service, the client's name, email, phone and booking reference. The client is invited as a guest.
- Busy times cannot be booked. Before offering times, Ordina asks Google when you are busy and leaves those times out, on your booking page and when your Secretary books by chat or phone.
- Reschedules move the event; cancellations remove it, whoever makes them.
- Video services get a Google Meet link hosted by your account, fresh for each booking.
Connecting
- Open Integration, then Google Calendar, and tap Connect.
- Sign in with the Google account whose calendar you want to use and allow access.
Ordina only asks Google when you are busy. It never reads the titles, guests or details of your own events.
Tips
- Put breaks, personal plans and days off on the connected calendar; an all-day event blocks the whole day.
- For split shifts, set your full working hours and add a recurring midday event.
- If it says it needs reconnecting (for example after a Google password change), nothing syncs until you connect again from the Overview tab.
- To stop, disconnect in Settings. Events already on your calendar stay there.
