Add your website and documents as sources
Let the Secretary read your website and your PDFs and Word files, how many you can add, and how re-syncing works.
Besides the text you type, the Secretary can read two other kinds of source. Both are under Secretary → Knowledge base → Document & website sources.
Your website
- Paste your site's address into the box (
https://yourbusiness.com) and tap Add. - Ordina fetches the page and the pages it links to one level deep, keeps the readable text, and drops menus and boilerplate.
- The source shows as Synced when it is ready, usually within a minute.
Product pages with structured data are captured with names and descriptions. Prices are still taken from your Store catalogue, never from the page, so a stale price online does not reach a customer.
Tap Retrain Secretary after you update the site to re-read it.
Documents
Upload a PDF or Word file: a price list, brochure, treatment menu, terms and conditions, an intake form, a course syllabus. The text is extracted, split into passages, and searched when a question needs it. Scanned images inside a PDF are not read; the document needs real text.
Limits: 3 documents on Pro, 5 on Business. Remove one with Remove source to make room.
How the Secretary uses them
When a customer asks something, the Secretary looks for the relevant passages across your knowledge text, your website and your documents, answers from those, and, in the transcript you see in Messages, notes where the answer came from. If nothing relevant exists it says it does not have that detail, instead of guessing.
