Home visits and mobile services
Services you deliver at the customer's address, with the address captured at booking and a map link on the appointment.
Cleaners, mobile hairdressers, personal trainers, repair technicians, photographers: if you go to the customer, set the service up as travelling.
Setting it up
- On the service in Store → Services, under Where does this happen?, choose You travel to the client.
- Give the service a duration that includes travel and set-up, not just the work.
- In the knowledge base, say where you cover ("Within 15 km of the city centre; further by arrangement") and what the customer needs to have ready ("Access to water and power, parking for a van").
What the customer sees
The Secretary asks for the address during booking and repeats it in the confirmation. If the address is outside the area you described, the Secretary says so and does not book it.
What you see
The appointment shows You travel to the client with the address and an Open in Google Maps link. With Google Calendar connected, the event carries the address too, so your phone navigates from the calendar.
Travel fees
Ordina does not add a distance-based fee automatically. Options: include an average in the price, make the price negotiable with a floor so the Secretary can add a little for distance, or add a "Travel fee" product the Secretary can add to the order when the address is far, with the rule written in your knowledge base.
