Build your page with the Page builder

Blocks, the draft versus the live page, styling per section, and publishing.

Your booking page is made of blocks (a hero, an about section, services, a gallery, hours, reviews, contact) arranged by the template you chose. The Page builder is where you edit them.

Draft and live

You always edit a draft. Nothing a customer sees changes until you tap Publish. If you get lost, Go back to what is live throws the draft away and reloads the published page.

Selecting a block

Click a section in the preview, or pick it from the block list. The panel on the side shows that block's content and its Style.

The blocks

  • Hero: your headline, a line of intro, your photo or banner, and the button. The Secretary bubble sits here on most templates.
  • About: who you are and what you do. This is where "Write it for me" earns its keep.
  • Services: fed from your Store. On templates with category tiles, you get one tile per category with a photo from the first service in it (needs at least two categories).
  • Gallery: your photos. Upload here or reuse service photos.
  • Video: a YouTube or Vimeo link. Anything else is refused with a note.
  • Hours: listed day by day from your availability. Change them under Store, not here.
  • Stats: clients served, reviews, years in business. Each figure is computed from your real completed bookings and approved reviews and hides itself until it is worth showing (20 clients, 3 reviews, 1 year), so it is never embarrassing.
  • Reviews: your approved reviews.
  • Contact: address, phone, email, socials, map.
  • Lead form: a short form for people who want a call back instead of booking.

A block you leave empty is hidden on the live page. You never have to delete a section to avoid a placeholder.

Style

The page has a style: colours for buttons and highlights, fonts, the Secretary bubble. Every block follows it by default. Open a block's Style panel to override just that section, and Reset this section to the page style to undo.

Publishing

Publish pushes the draft live and keeps the previous version. You can publish as often as you like.

Writing the copy for you

Every text block has Write this section for me, and the template picker has Write it for me for the whole page. See Write it for me.
